The Natural Resources Institute - Knowledge to Feed the World

The Natural Resources Institute's (NRI) lifesaving research and training empowers the world's poorest communities to reduce poverty, transforming the quality of life for millions. Staff at NRI are leading practitioners in agricultural development, natural resources management and food quality and safety.

quote1NRI staff have trained over 200 graduates from around the world who are now advisors, elected politicians, policymakers, quality assurance technicians, ecologists and teachers. Following graduation they returned home to share their knowledge, thereby helping to reduce poverty and ensure food security in their own countries. We need your support to continue providing life-changing study opportunities for the agriculturalists of tomorrow.

Supporting Aspiring Agriculturalists Campaign

The Supporting Aspiring Agriculturalists Campaign will provide scholarship support for a network of talented individuals who are committed to developing their skills and knowledge to bring about long-term change in the agricultural and food systems of the world's poorest regions. The fund will support students from low and middle income countries who are interested in taking up their postgraduate studies at NRI, but who are prevented from doing so due to financial restrictions.

quote2Each year, many highly qualified, bright students are unable to take up their place at NRI as they cannot afford to support themselves. Donations will enable students to be nurtured through NRI training, establishing the next generation of agricultural professionals who will share and extend their knowledge and skills to help communities in their home countries to improve their livelihoods and ensure food security.
