Knowledge for a sustainable world

Gizem is a clinical dietitian. She graduated from University College London with a master’s degree in Clinical and Public Health Nutrition. During her MSc research, she conducted a systematic review of dietary interventions in patients with systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) with the goal of improving nutritional guidance for patients with SLE.

Her research interests include nutrition interventions, therapeutic effects of functional foods and their role in health promotion and disease prevention, nutrition education, sustainable diets, and behaviour change interventions. She’s particularly interested in changing the behaviour of primary care practitioners towards nutrition and dietary health related professional practice.
