Save the date! From the 18th–20th November 2014, the Food Matters Live FREE event will be taking place at ExCeL (Exhibition Centre London), located at the Royal Victoria Dock, London Docklands.
This pioneering event will bring together professionals from the worlds of food manufacturing, food service, nutrition, policy, public health, research, and retail, to explore challenges, opportunities and solutions for the food, health and nutrition sectors.
With a healthy number of professionals presenting over the three days, you are sure to get your fill of nutritious talk! The University of Greenwich will be represented by specialist speakers in the seminar series:

Standards, guides and regulations for nutritional labelling – chaired by Dr Rachel Crockett, Senior Research Fellow in the Centre for Positive Ageing, University of Greenwich, and featuring her talk on 'The behavioural impact of food labelling'

Accessing raw materials: strategies to manage risk in the supply chain, featuring the talk 'Embedding food safety in policy and practice' presented by Erica Sheward, Food Safety Specialist, Natural Resources Institute, University of Greenwich
- Thursday 20th November, 12.30–14.00, Room 28
Evaluating next generation ingredients to support immune health – chaired by Dr Nazanin Zand, Senior Lecturer in Food Science and Nutrition, Department of Life Sciences, University of Greenwich
...whilst on the exhibition floor hosting over 200 organisations, you will find the University of Greenwich flag flying at stand RP41, where a dedicated team from Greenwich Research and Enterprise, the Department of Life Sciences, the School of Health and Social Care, and the Natural Resources Institute will be on hand to answer all your food, health, and nutrition queries, whilst showcasing their research and consultancy expertise and highlighting the teaching and training opportunities on offer at the University.
NRI will be specifically highlighting its MSc Programmes in Food Innovation and Food Safety and Quality Management and its MPhil/PhD programmes.
